One of the aims of the Pesticides-Online platform is the collection and distribution of data about pesticide usage in agriculture and pesticide residue findings in various countries. Authorized users can then access this data on-line and use it to localize risks in order to perform a more targeted and efficient sampling and residue analysis. The quality and practical use of the database strongly relies on the data sent by the users. The whole process involving data-submission, data-processing, data-input into the database and finally on-line data-access by the authorized users is shown in the flowchart below.

What kind of data and information is collected?
Besides the data concerning the pesticides detected as residues, found levels and MRL violations, information about the commodity, its processing, country of origin and time of sampling are collected in the database.
To standardize data submission and thus facilitate data processing, we developed a Microsoft Excel file, which can be downloaded here: Data Submission File. There you can find also detailed instructions on how to enter and submit your data to the administrator.
